I'm tired.

Tired of my fursona, a direct representation of my inner self, being referred to as a tails recolor time after time again... Tired of Archinos' roots and looks tying him perminantly to the "fan character" role... Just, overall, 'm tired of being just a fan artist.

I'm in college now, and the way that I was critiqued at CCS earlier on continues to come back at me again and again... In the US, fan artistism just isn't as much of an accepted thing. Everyone wants fresh and new; a new form of art, a unique form, never seen before.

However, that's never the case, as art, like pretty much all other forms of communication, have a point of reference. Everyone learned from someone else's works, from examples found somewhere else, from that which already exists.... But that's just not enough for anyone to aprove of fan artists...

.... Personally, I'm tired of it. I want to break the mold for once, and keep something that'll distinguish myself... I want to no longer have to hear "Ooh, that's Tails, right?" or "Nice, Sonic" for any of my drawings... I'm switching styles again. This time, for originality.

Expect some unexpected changes and weird customizations in the future.
